About Evening for Educators:

The Evening for Educators program is a program designed by the Statewide Art Partnership and began at the Springville Museum of Art. It has now expanded around the state including the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, BYU Museum of Art and many more.

The program consists of an evening at a museum or school with a lecture and workshops centered around a specific art theme, idea, genre, or time period. It is a free program open to all educators and is designed to prepare teachers to use the visual arts of Utah in all school curriculum.

At each of the Evenings for Educators, teaching packets containing slides of art works, biographies of the artists and lesson plans with DBAE (Discipline-Based Art Education) across-the-curriculum lessons created by educators are available for a donation of $5. For more information about the Evenings, call the Springville Museum of Art at (801) 489-2727
